CONTEST RESULTS

I am still stunned by how much positivity came out of this contest.

74 brave kids sent in their stories, and we raised $781 dollars for our regional foodbank.  Way to go, KW kids!

Coming to a decision about which stories would be finalists was incredibly difficult.  Our panel of 7 judges (comprised of local writers, teachers, and book lovers) commented many times that it was nearly impossible to rank them--each story had its own unique strengths.  So please understand that even if your story didn't end up as one of the top finalists, we had a very long list of other fantastic story entries that we loved as well. Everyone who entered should be so proud of themselves for writing their story.

Thank you for entering, and great work!
